Diane von Furstenberg: The Wrap Dress
"Feel like a woman--wear a dress," proclaimed DvF in the early 70s. Since then, Furstenberg and the wrap dress have been synonymous. In my book, she’s up there with Chanel for creating a timeless classic.

Carolina Herrera: The White Shirt
Talk about a classic.
Wait until the end of any Herrera show and you will see Carolina in some variation of a white button down shirt. She’s graced the catwalk with any white button down variation, including wearing one under a fur vest for her Fall 2006 show.

Roberto Cavalli: Animal Print
What is more iconic of Roberto Cavalli than animal prints? Even when Cavalli tried to tone down his last collection, he still sprinkled a few zebra prints in the mix. Just take a peak in his restaurant/lounge in Milan or his café in Florence. The dishes, the picture frames, and even the chairs are covered in cheetah, zebra, and cobra prints.

Heatherette: Amanda Lepore
No Heatherette fashion show would be complete without the famous, energetic transsexual strutting down their runway. Heatherette’s crazy designing duo refers to Lepore as their “shining star.”

Betsey Johnson: The Cartwheel
Carolina has her white button down. Heatherette has their transsexual. Betsey has her cartwheel. This outrageous and energetic designer is now a grandmother, yet she still goes head over heels after every fashion show.
