Dolce and Gabanna Shake Catholicism in 4 Inch Heels
Everyone from the MAC make-up artists to my hair stylist has been talking about Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabanna’s notorious spread in the latest issue of W. Concepts of sexuality, the Catholic religion, and fashion are combined artistically (and boldly) in 12 pages of this fashion must-read. This controversial spread includes grieving nudes, sex and the rosary, the cross and debauchery; all of which have religious officials in Rome enraged. Personally, I believe this spread is the best one executed byt this dynamic couple yet. Shot in their not-so-modest home in Sicily, Dolce and Gabanna captured luxury, hedonism, and expression. The true Romans would have been proud.
